I like Rosa. Prefer Rose.

Rosa Emily
Rosa Beatrice
Rosa Elizabeth

ANy traditional girl's name will go with it.

LadyK · 13/06/2008 11:53

How many syllables in your surname?

cyteen · 13/06/2008 11:56

Love Rosa, it would definitely have been on my list were we not having a boy. It's a hard one to pick a middle name for though. You need something that starts with a consonant, to balance out the 'a', and nothing that ends in 'a' - between those two things a lot of names are out! Clare? May? Kate?

hayley2u · 13/06/2008 11:56

i love rosa its so cute, rosa
rosa lee/leah

LadyK · 13/06/2008 11:57

What about Rosalie instead of Rosa? Any easier?

Good lefty name, go for Rosa.

artichokes · 13/06/2008 11:59

I love Rosa. It is pretty, not too common and was the name of two inspirational women in history (Rosa Parks and Rosa Luxembourg).

I think it goes with many middle names. I like middle names with relevance to the baby's family.

MrsBadger · 13/06/2008 12:03

Depends on surname but agree with cyteen you want something starting with a consonant - Grace
Jane
Louise
Margaret
Caroline

LadyThompson · 13/06/2008 12:03

Rosa Serena

Rosa Clementine

Rosa Belle

Rosa Katherine

Rosa Florence

Rosa Constance/Patience

Rosa Romilly

rosealbie · 13/06/2008 12:04

Love the name. A friend's daughter is called Rosa.

Rosa Louise

jennyshere · 13/06/2008 12:07

Only one syallable in surname and Hayley you are too close to our surname with that suggestion!

Which also means we can't have Rosa Lily which I like

I'm glad every one likes it so far, keep the suggestions coming.

I really like Rosa Grace, Rosa Florence so far.

What about Rosa Luxembourg?

I think you need either a one syllable or three syllable middle name with Rosa
Rosa Grace good.
Also Rosa Fleur,
Rosa Emmiline,
Rosa Christabel

cosima · 13/06/2008 12:23

elizabeth

MrsBadger · 13/06/2008 12:24

no no, that would come out as RosaRelizabeth unless you put a really hard 1950s-style glottal stop on the E.

LadyThompson · 13/06/2008 12:32

Rosa Mirabel

Rosa Evangeline

Rosa Peony

Rosa Felicity

Rosa Briony

mandybagpuss · 13/06/2008 12:36

Rosa is an Italian name and would go well with another name ending in A

Rosa:, alessia, francesca, olivia, bella

jennyshere · 13/06/2008 12:41

Bf is called louise so can't really do that, although it sounds really nice.

I love Rosa Evangeline but its too close to my dd1's first name.

I really like Rosa Olivia, it goes really well with our surname, think we may have found our middle name!

Rosa Daisy ?

Rosa Amelia (lots of A's!)

or Rosa Katherine

Mavornia · 13/06/2008 21:07

Rosa Emmeline sounds lovely as someone suggested above

I also love:

Rosa Violetta (for a floral extravaganza of a name!)

Rosa Melisande Rosa Heloise Rosa Mariola

seeker · 13/06/2008 21:11

I like Emmeline and Christabel for middle names - good associations. Shame Sylvia doesn't go with Rosa!

Mavornia · 13/06/2008 21:13

sorry, didn't think my post would look quite so bold

janeite · 13/06/2008 21:13

We sponsor a little girl called Rosa-Lydia, which I think is very pretty.

pointydog · 13/06/2008 21:14

It's lovely
