dd1-Mabel

dd2-Ida

they would have bloody suited them too, though we'd have been laughed out of the playground

I don't have a girl but left entirely to my own devices she would have been called Genevieve. Very ponce-tastic

DS1 would probably stay as he is.
DS2 would have been Benedict. Also a bit poncy.

Ben and Gena for short - a bit more manageable.

They aren't because DH guffawed at Archie (oooh Eerrchie), I only started loving Freya a couple of years ago, so too late for DD, and Will gets 'shortened' to Wullie up here in Scotland - so no to that.

ds might possibly have been conrad. but really his own name suits him very well.

Although if I wasn't with DP with his surname I could have had some other names I liked IYSWIM.

It was entirely up to me. I told dh that although I respected his input and would take it into consideration, until he carrried a gave birth to a baby all names were up to me.

ds1 is Mateo (Means "gift from God" and truly fit the circumstances of his pregnancy)

ds2 is Cruz (dh was watching a movie while I was asleep and the next day the name of one of the characters kept popping in my head, the more I said it the more I liked it.)

Dd1 and Ds would be as they are, but Dd2 would be Eloise. It is her middle name, but I always wanted it as her first name.

DD would have been Gertrude. Gertie for short. DP was having none of it.

DS would stay the same. He seems to really suit his name so far, but he's only 6 weeks old so it's hard to tell!

Only got one dd but she would have been called Caroline (my cousin's name so my mum banned it!)

Next fictional dd would be Verity (dh hates it, I love it)

Fictional ds would be Sebastian and Dominic

My boys name are fine. But DD would have been Idony - I just really liked it.

Exactly what they are. Good thing I didn't have any boys to name as that's where I couldn't agree with DH.
