Which would you choose from our final Top 2?

Baby is nearly here and we don't know if it's a boy or a girl. This is our third. Our older two don't have any kind of theme in their names and neither name is in the Top 100 for the UK - not that that's a requirement this time!

Our top choice for a girl are Nancy and Celeste.

For a boy, it's Rudy and Lucien.

What are your thoughts? Which would you choose?

Love Celeste and Nancy. Celeste probably my preference though.

Not so sure about the boys' names.

Nancy and Lucien. I knew a Lucien who was a lovely lad, so I might be biased there.

Celeste and Lucien. I personally really dislike Nancy.

Nancy. I don’t like either of your boy choices. Rudy just makes me think of red-faced people, rudeness, The Specials, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and Lucien I find a bit mimsy unless you’re French and pronounce it the French way.

Rudy is awful especially this time of year.
I just keep singing ‘message to you Rudy’ too. It’s also slang for being rude.

I really dislike the boy options, think both would be quite tricky names to live with in their own way. I just hear Lucifer and Rudy Poody 🙈

Celeste and Lucien sound quite French chic and are nice enough. Nancy and Rudy seem trendier and are not my cup of tea - and to be honest I mostly think of tragic Nancy from Oliver and “Nudey Rudey” when I hear those two.

I know two lovely Nancy's so probably Nancy out of those two

Rudy...reminds me of Trumps lawyer pal, awful New York Mayor and his sweating black dye from his hair in a press conference...definitely unpleasant associations sadly

Celeste makes me think of the pill and/or sad 50s housewives. Cecile maybe?

Rudy is a bit too ho ho ho, and a bit too I wish I belonged to soho house. Rory is a great alternate, but v popular.
