Noah

LyraSilvertongue · 05/06/2008 11:38

Not keen on either but Noah's quite popular. Digby sounds a bit old-mannish.

OverMyDeadBody · 05/06/2008 11:40

Noah.

nickytwotimes · 05/06/2008 11:40

Noah.

Welcome to the site.

NoBiggy · 05/06/2008 11:42

Isn't Digby the biggest dog in the world?

Noah.

MrsBadger · 05/06/2008 11:43

I quite like both but Noah is popular.

savoycabbage · 05/06/2008 11:46

I like them both but I would choose Digby on the grounds that Noah is so very popular.

Pinkjenny · 05/06/2008 11:47

My uncle's sheepdog was called Digby. Noah.

largeginandtonic · 05/06/2008 11:53

Shut up Pink . I had Digby on the list for my last baby! I love it. I did get the dog quips > but i still loved it. DH chose Beau instead. It is lurking on the list for the next baby though!

I already have a Jonah but love the name Noah too.

Pinkjenny · 05/06/2008 11:54

Oooh, those hormones kicking in, woman?

Mummato4 · 05/06/2008 11:55

Oi! [hormone rage emoticon]

Mine have quite weird names i suppose. Well the twins escaped with Samul and Jacob. I have a Seraphim (dd) Jonah, Hugo and Beau.

largeginandtonic · 05/06/2008 11:57

Samuel not weirdy spelling!

OverMyDeadBody · 05/06/2008 12:36

Oh I love the name Hugo. Every Hugo I've ever known has been gorgeous too.

Dragonbutter · 05/06/2008 12:39

Digby is reminding me of sir digby chicken caesar from Mitchell and Webb.
Noah is a lovely name.
Also Jonas?

VictorianSqualor · 05/06/2008 12:53

Noah.

Cheekster · 05/06/2008 13:00

My little boy due in 6 weeks is going to be a Noah. I just love the name but we have decided not to tell any of our family the name until he is born, when we mentioned names before we had so many disapproving looks or comments so we chose a name that we both love and everyone else will just have to get used to it!!

Noah isnt a popular name where I live (as a teacher and my sister a health visitor we know all the v popular names) so Ive kind of got away with that aspect.

But I would defo choose Noah!

LavendersBlueDillyDilly · 05/06/2008 13:02

Didn't know Digby was a name tbh, so not sure I like it.

I like Noah, and don't think it's very popular, just not very unusual nowadays.

I love Hugo. I like Huw too.

LaDiDaDi · 05/06/2008 13:04

Digby, I love it! Nothing against Noah but just really like Digby.

pinkorblue · 05/06/2008 13:11

Noah

tootiredtothink · 05/06/2008 13:35

When did Noah become popular? (my ds name)

Go for Noah (unless you live next door to me then go for Digby!)

aquababe · 05/06/2008 13:39

Neither but Noahs nicer

largeginandtonic · 05/06/2008 14:06

OMDB Hugs is gorgeous he has a cheeky pose on my profile pics

Digby is well and truly back on my list for this next baby.

Go on call him Digby!

CantSleepWontSleep · 05/06/2008 15:55

Noah too common.

Like Digby, though would prob raise eyebrows on first hearing in RL. Same could prob be said of Diggery (or is it Diggory?), but I rather like that too.

Mummato4 · 05/06/2008 16:36

This is great, thanks everyone. Someone mentioned that they work in education, so do I and thats why I wanted something abit different because otherwise I will constantly have name association!!! Need I say anymore
Thanks keep it going you have really mad me laugh. x
