My friend suggested this as a potential for my baby girl but I'm not so keen. Partner is on the fence, no stronger feeling either way.

Blond hair in a top knot with pierced ears.

Tigerbalmshark · 22/10/2025 20:50

Aggro mother kicking off in the school office, I’m afraid.

TotallyUnapologeticOmnivore · 22/10/2025 21:08

She'll be the youngest crack dealer in her neighbourhood.

Sparklybutold · 22/10/2025 21:28

Parents who are likely young and struggled at school?

nopenotplaying · 28/11/2025 19:27

She wears a loopy cardigan and matching hat

furrysocks · 28/11/2025 19:36

Does it work with the title Dr in front of it? No, it is a silly non-name and any child lumbered with it will end up being judged for it their entire life. She may be a lovely, articulate, highly intelligent human being but that name conjures up a Vicky Pollard image

Doctors are generally known as Dr Surname though 🙄

Newsenmum · 28/11/2025 19:39

Lea/Lee/Leigh/Ly is extremely overdone so I wouldnt

MyThreeWords · 28/11/2025 19:45

My first image is a McDonalds burger, on account of it sounding so much like "Maccy d".

Second image is a cup of tea, on account of it sounding a bit like Rosie Lee.

You could upgrade to Matcha Tea, which sounds less chavvy and more aspirational

dailyconniptions · 28/11/2025 19:45

Surely, surely you have the tiniest inkling that hyphenated names are pretty chav sounding and disliked by the majority of people? It's a bad name. Just use one of them, with the other as a middle name if you must, but there are many far nicer names out there.

A baby with pierced ears and one of the hideous headbands with a huge bow on it. Sitting in a frilly pushchair drinking coke out of a bottle!

Wearing elaborate frilly socks and shoes before they can even walk.

Not at my GP surgery.

Needmorelego · 28/11/2025 20:01

YYYDlilah · 28/11/2025 19:47

Not at my GP surgery.

That's unusual.
At my GPs there is one Dr known by his first name - but that's because he has one of those Indian surnames with about 30 letters and it probably doesn't fit on the screen that shows when it's your turn to go in 😂
The rest.....I haven't a clue what their first names are. I don't know the first names of the surgeons who did my daughters operations either.
To be honest I don't care in the slightest if a doctor is called Sarah or Sunshine-Mai. What difference does it make?

drspouse · 28/11/2025 20:06

We have two doctors who are married to each other so they are Dr Bill Smith and Dr Mary Smith though in our house we usually call them Dr Mrs Smith and Dr Mr Smith.
(We know they are married to each other because a) their surname is much more unusual than Smith and b) their daughter is in DD cycling club).

Zempy · 28/11/2025 20:06

Sounds like a burger

ACatNamedRobin · 28/11/2025 20:08

FlatErica · 14/10/2025 20:19

US trailer trash?

Yes this.

olderandnonthewiser · 28/11/2025 20:09

way too burger ish

Nocameltoeleggingsplease · 28/11/2025 20:15

As a teenage girl she’s breaking all the school rules around uniform. She’s probably bright but doesn’t show it and she’s not very ambitious for herself.

Redburnett · 28/11/2025 20:22

Don't forget that the sweet little baby may one day be a senior professional in an important or public role, so 'cute' names might be unwise.

furrysocks · 28/11/2025 21:40

Yeah that’s fair. Guess I was imagining Dr + first name + surname. Either way it’s a bad, bad name

LoudPlumDog · 02/12/2025 13:30

My friend has a new granddaughter called Macie-Mae

PrincessHoneysuckle · 02/12/2025 14:04

Sister of Okayden

ThatWriterInTheCorner · 02/12/2025 14:10

I read Maci as Maccie, so the name as a whole makes me think of a combination of McDonalds and Dairylea. Sorry

dailyconniptions · 02/12/2025 14:18

A scrote.

Themagicfarawaytreeismyfav · 02/12/2025 15:44

A baby with pierced ears, one of those hideous bows on their head and a dummy with crystals all over it.
