MrsMattie · 04/06/2008 14:04

squeaver · 04/06/2008 14:05

Cappuccino · 04/06/2008 14:05

MargaretMountford · 04/06/2008 14:05

Reefer Madness

snowleopard · 04/06/2008 14:05

Salsie's kind of cool though... (unless it means something weird)

bundle · 04/06/2008 14:06

as in the Grim Reefer?

are you sure she didn't say Salsa?

snowleopard · 04/06/2008 14:06

And Reef would actually be a great name... just not Reefer.

Iklboo · 04/06/2008 14:06

DId we say she can't call her children that?

My dear old Dad rang up a while back and announced they'd decided to call the new puppy Beaver.

We had to tell him.

bundle · 04/06/2008 14:30

(my folks called their cat Lickie Wah Wah cos he couldn't miaow properly. I NEVER shouted that damn cat in)

Oliveoil · 04/06/2008 14:34

lol at fiodyl

tell her to get a grip and refuse to make her any more cups of tea until she comes to her senses

MsDemeanor · 04/06/2008 14:36

I think you have to tell her what Reefer means. Maybe she's only heard of the jacket. She must know! Say, 'what like dope or weed?' and see how she takes it.

She might be winding you up - we told people Chlamydia Sasparilla for a girl and Isambard Ira Benvolio Ozymandius (sp) for a boy

(someone did believe the Chlamydia one)

Umlellala · 04/06/2008 14:39

I like 'em. But then, my own boys name choice causes tumbleweed effect too.

Should have shut up til the baby comes - then people don't really seem to care as much.
