Alice or Anna

Hi All, expecting second baby girl, our toddler is named Emma. We absolutely love Anna and don’t really mind that they are similar sounding (actually we almost like it more for this) but we also like Alice.

Baby girl will absolutely be one of these 2 names, we aren’t looking for new ideas.

Which would you pick Alice or Anna

I prefer Anna, but I agree that it’s too similar to Emma.

'Emma and Anna' ( in that order) is difficult to say....unless you say "Anna and Emma", which you probably won't as Anna would be the younger. So on that basis, Alice.

If you want a similar sound to Anna though, then Hannah.

Alice and Emma sound just lovely together. However, as much as I love the name Alice, I chose not to use it as I'd forever be finishing calling the name with 'who the f* is Alice' in my head! Ruddy Roy Chubby Brown!

Both names are lovely, but Alice goes better with Emma.

Anna is one of my fave names - so classic, simple and international. BUT I honestly think Alice goes so much better with Emma as a sibset, as they both have similar origins and style - they just work very well together.

I love all your name choices but would choose Anna. Emma and Anna are lovely names and siblings are individuals.

Alice is my favourite of the two.
