We both do really love the name but are worried that it is perhaps too boring, what does everyone think?

We also like Hazel, Alexis and Alara.

Grace is massively risky - what if they're inelegant and ungraceful? Or rude and graceless? The name presumes a lot!

Despise Gracie - it sounds so prissy and infantisling.

It's a nice name, falling out of fashion again of more recent years but I would prefer that to be honest.

Like Hazel and Alexis not so much Alara as I haven't heard that before so sounds a bit made up to me.

Only caveat with Alexis is would it be too close to Alexa and invite smart comments/piss taking at school?

I have a Grace, and she is magnificent! When she was tiny, the one-syllable was very easy to shout across the park and only she came running (unlike if I had called her Tilly or something more popular at the time). However, a lot of people seemed to add '-ie' to the end, so you might want to quash that if it bothers you!

Hazel is quite pretty and unexpected (in a good way), as they are so few and far between! (Also, people are unlikely to add '-ie' to the end...)
