Felicity, Lilah or Grace?

Hi everyone,
We've just had a baby girl and are torn between a few names. Would love to get some thoughts on them!
Our top contenders are Felicity or Lilah, with Grace as the middle name, or Grace as the first name with an alternative middle name.
What do you think?
Other names we liked are Siena/Sienna, Margot and Clara.

Love Margot and Clara. Grace has been overused for years plus each of my dds know an awful Grace who are both the exact opposite of their name.

BelleSauvage9 · 11/04/2025 18:12

Love lilah grace

777hotelbar · 11/04/2025 18:14

Grace is a beautiful classic name, it will never date, despite lots of MN having an adverse reaction to it!

Moreteaandchocolate · 11/04/2025 18:14

Lilah Grace is beautiful. I also love Clara. Grace and Margot are nice too. Felicity is a bit long for my taste and I’m not keen on the shortenings.

Beamur · 11/04/2025 18:14

All v pretty.
I'd go with Felicity or Margot/Clara.
Not Grace though - it's extremely well used.

BeMintFatball · 11/04/2025 18:16

Definitely Lilah. Say she is named after Lilah Lewis who is representing GB in ice dance at the 2026 Olympics

Congratulations!

All the names on your list are beautiful.
My favourites are Grace, Lilah and Margot.

GreyhoundGal1 · 11/04/2025 19:20

My favourites are Felicity and Grace, but I think together it's too much of the c sound for me. I would probably pick Grace Margot or Felicity Margot, I think they sound lovely.

Roselilly36 · 11/04/2025 19:24

Felicity has always been my favourite girls name, great choice.

TheeNotoriousPIG · 11/04/2025 19:41

I have a Grace. I chose her name purposely as it is one syllable. People insist on lengthening it to "Gracie", so if you can live with that, I'd choose Grace all over again! (Mine is fabulous, though, so perhaps I am biased).

I love Felicity, though, and would have a Margot if my surname didn't also include a long 'O' sound!

ClaudiusTheGod · 11/04/2025 19:55

Why the H on the end of Lila?

Strawberryjammam · 11/04/2025 19:56

They're all extremely popular other than Lilah, although I would assume that's short for Delilah. If you wanted to go a bit more out there, Lyra is similar and popular enough to not get mispronounced without being so popular you'll constantly come across them.

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 11/04/2025 20:00

Love Grace and also really like Felicity.
would go either Grace Felicity or Felicity Grace

Emanwenym · 11/04/2025 20:20

Felicity - fine but a bit long.
Lilah - don't like it at all
Grace as the middle name - boring, sorry.
Grace as the first name - fine
Sienna - not a very nice colour
Margot - don't like it
Clara - really not keen

I'd ditch Lilah, Margot and Sienna.

Felicity and Grace aren't likely to date, the others will.

MaltipooMama · 11/04/2025 20:34

Congratulations! My upcoming daughter’s name is going to be Lilah so I obviously have to pick this as my favourite 😂 I absolutely love it!

theunbreakablecleopatrajones · 11/04/2025 20:43

I love Felicity - it’s more popular than it was but not overdone. Felicity Margot is great

I like Clara too

Grace is nice but way overdone as a middle name, a bit overdone as a first name

Margot great but way overdone right now

Lilah just makes me think half of lilos and half it’s a bit stripper - and also there are so many Lara/lyra/lola/leila/lena names they all blur into one

Sienna has gone a bit hello mag. Serena or Saskia maybe?

Mudkipper · 11/04/2025 22:04

Felicity Clara.

Hollyaddy · 11/04/2025 22:10

Love felicity. If my son had been a girl that was the name.

I now have a kitten called felicity instead .

Beautiful name. Happiness 😊

Hollyaddy · 11/04/2025 22:12

Id Definitely avoid margot . It's really common nowadays. Sienna too is not what I'd call a classy name nowadays too

Grace is beautiful

LilyJosephine · 11/04/2025 22:37

Felicity. Most of the others (Margot, Sienna, Lilah/Lila/Lyla etc) are too trendy for me personally- I think they might date. 2nd choice would be Clara.

Grace is a classic but I personally find it a bit dull - I prefer similar style Rose or May as a first name if you are going down the “classic single syllable” name route (although all are boring as middle names tbh due to overuse). Have you considered Claire instead as a middle name- similar pretty sound as Grace and deserves a comeback imo, or if you want something more trendy, what about Maeve? Felicity Maeve sounds lovely imo.

Housemattin · 11/04/2025 22:38

I like Lilah. Margot's are a bit rife and I'm of an age where it reminds me of the fussy one on The Good Life. Sienna would be my next favourite.

lemoncrisp · 11/04/2025 22:50

I have a Clara. Now in her 30s - never imagined the name becoming so popular. I like Felicity Grace.

YouCantArgueWithStupid2025 · 11/04/2025 22:54

Felicity Grace 🤍 I love Fliss as a nickname.

SilverButton · 11/04/2025 22:57

Lovely names! I like Lila (would spell without the h), Clara and Felicity.
