Aw, love how they are anagrams of each other!

Norah & Rohan sound best together IMO.

Fridgedooropen · 04/02/2025 22:48

Do they have to be anagrams of each other? Why?

bluestarthread · 04/02/2025 22:48

None of the above. It’s too contrived - give them their own identities.

tinkersmell34 · 04/02/2025 22:49

Liam and Tate are lovely. Not keen on the rest, sorry. Are you deliberately using anagrams (Mila/Liam and Norah/Rohan) because if so it's a bit gimmicky. There are loads of lovely names out there, don't pick something just because it follows a certain trend. Pick it because you truly lovely it.

Smashandflab · 04/02/2025 22:50

Nora & Rowan

Joystir59 · 04/02/2025 22:50

They are two separate individuals not a fucking matching set!

EconomyClassRockstar · 04/02/2025 22:51

I like Etta and Tate but I agree with PPs. They're probably going to be called "The Twins" by everyone who knows them anyway so give them individual names. If you're really keen on the anagram idea, keep it for the middle name.

raspberryberet7 · 04/02/2025 22:51

please give them individual names they will spend their life fighting people referring to them as a pair rather than individuals please don't add to it

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 04/02/2025 22:52

OP honestly, a big thing in twin parenting is letting them have their own identities. They will do so much together - sharing a womb, a cot at first, likely a childminder or preschool group etc..
Twins are together as children in an incredibly intense way. They really need their own names.

MomBruh · 04/02/2025 22:52

Very clever.

But seriously, pick a name you love, not just one that shoehorns itself into pair of anagrams.

Scutterbug · 04/02/2025 22:52

Matchy names is very twee.

Mila and Tate are nice together.

SatinHeart · 04/02/2025 22:53

Mila and Tate would be fab but obviously you lose the anagram thing.

ThePoshUns · 04/02/2025 22:54

That's so naff.

SerenStarEtoile · 04/02/2025 22:55

Agree with @EconomyClassRockstar

They deserve their “own” name. It might be ok if they were kittens…..

MyFlightWasAwfulThanksForAsking · 04/02/2025 22:56

Don't do this to the poor kids.
I'd go with Mila and Rohan, but I'm guessing you mainly like the names for the matching element rather than in their own right.

Motherrr · 04/02/2025 22:57

Very creative, but do you actually like the names?

Twins definitely often say how they hated being referred to as one unit... I wouldn't set them up this way. Make sure you nurture their own individual personalities as they will spend so much time together as it is

MumonabikeE5 · 04/02/2025 22:58

I like what you’ve done. Not keen on Liam. So I’d discount that sib set. But the other two are great.

steelingmyself · 04/02/2025 23:03

None are for me.

Moreteaandchocolate · 04/02/2025 23:13

I love Norah and Rohan or Mila and Liam. I like the anagram thing - and the names are lovely in their own right too.

Norah and Rohan is my pick for yourv twins.

Other ideas ..
Mietta and Rohan
Sally and David
Tim and Nancy
Victoria and John

Mangoesintoapub · 05/02/2025 05:50

You’re not naming kittens. Give them their own names.

Tate makes me think of Andrew Tate so I’d avoid that for a start.

BananaSpanner · 05/02/2025 05:50

Not keen on Liam or Etta but the rest of the names are nice.
I actually think the anagram thing is nicer than matching initials which is often seen.

Glorybox2025 · 05/02/2025 05:51

Oh please don't do this, it's so naff.

Blue278 · 05/02/2025 05:54

With the authority of a mother of BG twins. No. Are you going to be one of those twin mums where their twin status has to be their whole personality?
