The person who went to the press about this must have lived a very sheltered life if that's the oddest name/spelling they've encountered! I was expecting something much more out there (although my guess of Jelleigh-Baebii wasn't a million miles off!)

I just looked up the article and th me spelling was actually Jeilyi. That’s pretty unnecessarily weirdly spelt.

The Jeilyi spelling makes me think Jail-ey. Not a great association...
But yeah some people seem to think of their kid's name as their (the parents') chance to stand out, without thinking or caring that the baby will have to live their whole lives (or until they're old enough to change it) with that name.

That to me reads as Jay-Leigh, are we sure it’s pronounced Jelly?
