Italian baby girl name

My mum is Italian but I was born in England, I have just found out me and my partner are having a baby girl and want to keep tradition by calling her an Italian name, but the issue is the Italian names are so old fashioned and they just don’t have the same ring to them in English. I really like the name Gia, pronounced Gee-ah but this is not used in Italy and the full name is Gianna pronounced Ja-nah… I’m so stuck, any help on Italian names that don’t sound so old fashioned in English and still sound really pretty. Please help!!!

My baby daughter's name is Marcella which has Italian origins. It's extremely rare in England. It got a good reception from my Italian colleagues :)

I have a friend in Italy named Irene which in Italian sounds so pretty (ee-ray-neh), particularly with a rolled ‘R’. It would be a nightmare to keep correcting people in the UK though.

British / Scandinavian ancestry here but we called our DD Francesca. Everyone loves the name, including DD. Gianna (Gia) is equally beautiful.
