Trying to decide between Hugo or Louis/Louie for third baby. Already have a Theodore and Noah.

Honestly, I don't like either name very much, but I voted for Hugo because I thought it sounded a good match with Theodore and Noah.

Love them both, can’t choose

Neither are a particular fave but of the two I’d pick Louis (I do understand why people choose the phonetic Louie - but I’m afraid to me it just looks like they don’t know how it’s supposed to be spelt 🫣).

While I do love traditional Hugh, I’m not quite as sure about trendier Hugo - plus I’m guessing Theodore might get Theo when older and each of the boys names having a different ending sound is nice imo.

Personally being a bit of a traditionalist I would have probably gone with the Louis spelling. But regardless of spelling I always really liked the name and having tried it out for nearly two years with my adorable Grandson I love it.

Louis, and definitely this spelling! The ie cheapens it somewhat.

If you shorten to Theo, I feel Theo and Hugo may be a bit samey as they both ending in o. I much prefer Louis to Hugo anyway.
