I like your girls' name choices. Particularly Thalia (would spell with 'h') but i know a very sweet Lexie and so have nice associations with that name too

Not keen on the boys names tbh but prefer Harley of the two.

Tis all irrelevant really, all that matter is that you like them

buzzzybee · 19/04/2008 08:44

Thanks ppl x still not sure.lol i'm scared to let u all know now!

Thalia is nice.

dizzydixies · 19/04/2008 08:52

I have a Lexie nn for Alexandra and I love it

will go and buy myself a shell suit and some argos jewellery moondog if it makes you feel better

also like talia as a nn for Natalia

belgo · 19/04/2008 08:55

good retort dizzy

harleyd · 19/04/2008 08:57

harley is a great name

harleyd · 19/04/2008 08:58

lexie and talia are lovely
dont like jaycee so much

dizzydixies · 19/04/2008 08:58

sorry, may be a tad tetchy this morning but a simple 'not to my taste' would suffice sometimes

dizzydixies · 19/04/2008 09:01

there is a wee girl at dd1 nursery called Mahlia which is also pretty

lexie is a name in its own right, scottish meaning sparkling

you could have Alexa, Alexandra or Alexia if you wanted to use it as a nn

harley is ok, prefer Harvey

jaycee - not to my taste

2point4kids · 19/04/2008 09:02

Love both girls names, but not keen on the boy names...

3andnomore · 19/04/2008 17:10

Love Talia, Lexie is o.k., not that keen on Jaycee, but Harley is cute

3andnomore · 19/04/2008 17:11

oh, and a friend of mine has a lovely, by now pretty grown up daughter called Harley...and it really suits the girl, too...

MaryAnnSingleton · 19/04/2008 17:12

don't like them I'm afraid

beaniesteve · 19/04/2008 17:13

Lexie is nice

VictorianSqualor · 19/04/2008 17:22

Honestly, I hate Harley and Jaycee,
Talia should be spelt with an H and Lexie is great, as a nn for Alexandra/Alexia/Alexa/Alexis but I don't like it on it's own.

HonoriaGlossop · 19/04/2008 18:16

I think Alexandra is a really beautiful name and Lexie is lovely as a shortening. I like Lexie but personally like a full name/nickname combination. Talia - not to my taste as dizzy so tactfully suggests we say

Jaycee and Harley - 'Not to my taste'
