Final 4!

I've posted before, about a brother for Alasdair. Middle name will be Michael.

Our sweet baby is 2 weeks old and our final 4 name choices are:

Edmund
Adrian
Elliott
Rowan (too popular?)

Please don't suggest anything else but thoughts on these 4 would be helpful, thanks.

I like Alasdair and Elliot best.

I love Rowan, but If I read siblings Alasdair and Rowan I'd assume Rowan was a girl and it was pronounced to rhyme with 'cow' rather than 'bow'. (Based on the fact that Alasdair is a Scottish name and in Scotland Rowan is predominantly a female name pronounced that way).

Edmund - seems very old fashioned

Rowan - I think of Rowan as a girls name, I'm sure it's fairly popular with girls too, but clearly it's unisex. But I personally associate it with girls.

Adrian - Rocky - Adriuuuhhnn (also a girl, but it definitely seems like a boys name normally!

Elliott - probably the best. (also, funnily enough makes me think of George Elliot, the female novelist who used a male sounding pen name)

All a bit wishy washy and feminine, but what matters is you and the father like them.

Rowan or Elliot.

Edmund is a bit strange and Adrian is too close to Alasdair

Rowan is extremely popular the last couple of years @WolfMother326 and that's compounded by popularity of Roman with an M (top 20-30 and still rising) so I'd avoid that if popularity is any kind of factor for you. It's very trendy. I prefer Rowan for a girl
