Looking for a sibling name to work with Edith

Who knew it would be so hard to find a name to fit with our daughters: Edith Isla! We quite like older/slightly unique names but any help would be appreciated please!

For girls so far we have: Aubrey, Alba, Wren, Esme, Freya, Nell, Elodie.

For boys: Axel, Otto, Albie, Atticus, Barnaby

Wow your choices seem to mainly be a totally different style to Edith if you ask me. The Ediths I know have siblings called Wilfred, Albert, Daphne and Clementine.

I think it's firmly neutral now though. Aubrey Plaza is the only famous Aubrey I know and the only IRL Aubrey I've met is a little girl.

For what it's worth, op, I consider Edith to be an early 20th Century name and none of those on your lists are equivalent. How about:

Edith and Nancy
Edith and Sybil

Edith and Robert
Edith and Douglas
Edith and William

Whatever you do, don't go with Axel Otto (axolotl)

I think Nancy would be beautiful with Edith!

I agree: most of these names are too modern to sit well with Edith.
Agree Nell works, but is nicer short for Helena or Penelope.

Axel does not go …Barnaby probably best fit. Albie fine if short for Albert.

Edith and Otto are Anne Frank's parents, personally I wouldn't use them together.
