Not yet pg with #2, but just getting your opinions on the name Rocco?
Really LOVE it, have done for a while but never dared to get opinions IRL as a bit scared of getting flack!!!

Rocco makes me think of Rocco and Dawn who were on one of those property programmes. He was, probably without exception, the most monstrous pillock I've ever seen on a reality show, and that's saying something.

doobydog- yes but... surely it is to hear people's opinions that you come on a board like this? you can't post about a name asking for opinions and then get upset if some people are not crazy about it.

i posted about a possible name for dd a while back and some of the negative answers gave me food for thought - but am still going to go for it!

I don't like it, particularly with the last name as it sounds too theatrical. Like it or not, people make many judgements based on names and I think that this one would generate a very mixed response - some good, some bad. With your last name, I think I would go along with what others have suggested and pick a more traditional name.
