Eve, Ollie and...

It's still very early days in the pregnancy after experiencing a mmc at 11 weeks back in January. Trying not to get ahead of myself, but equally want to start this new pregnancy with some positivity (despite the anxiety!)

We are struggling to come up with names and would love some suggestions.

We already have an Eve and an Ollie.

We have both loved the name Clara for some time, but still open to other suggestions.

We find it much harder to agree on boys names 🥴

I don't know why, but the name Ellis is popping into my head. Or Elise.
Clara is lovely too.

Newbornhaze · 26/04/2024 20:11

My first thought was Ellis too for a boy! I think Zach or Jude would work well too

Sails90 · 26/04/2024 20:15

@Newbornhaze I love Jude, but can't persuade my partner sadly!

Zak or Zoe
Dont know why they just sound right

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 26/04/2024 20:26

Eve. Ollie and Annie if it’s a girl.
Eve Ollie and Alfie if it’s a boy.
Keep up the vowel trend. 🤣

@savethatkitty Felix is one that we actually both like! It has come up a few times, but I'm a little hesitant. Probably because there are a few names I prefer, but my partner doesn't like. We will get there eventually!

Is Ollie a full name or is it Oliver on the BC? If the latter then I think Sylvie for a girl might be nice ( keep the V theme going) or Ivo for a boy.

Check the top 10 list then choose one exceptionally common to go with your other two. Don't bother looking for anything interesting. It's not your style and you won't conform and blend in enough for your tastes.

Your boy choices are Noah, George, Arthur, Leo, Harry, Oscar, Archie and Henry.

Your girl choices are Amelia, Isla, Ivy, Freya, Lily, Florence and Mia.

Job done.

Sails90 · 27/04/2024 08:27

@RedToothBrush It seems a lot of the people I choose to spend my time with are also exceptionally uninteresting, and so many of these names have already been used by friends and family. Thanks anyway.
