Eve, Ollie and...

It's still very early days in the pregnancy after experiencing a mmc at 11 weeks back in January. Trying not to get ahead of myself, but equally want to start this new pregnancy with some positivity (despite the anxiety!)

We are struggling to come up with names and would love some suggestions.

We already have an Eve and an Ollie.

We have both loved the name Clara for some time, but still open to other suggestions.

We find it much harder to agree on boys names 🥴

Clara's way too popular, there'll be loads in her class at school.

😂

Not sure what's so funny - there's another poster on this thread who's said exactly the same - Clara is way too popular. 🤷‍♀️

@penelopewalks I think @RedToothBrush finds the comment funny as they don't think it matters to me how popular the name Clara is, as they've already pointed out how uninteresting my existing children's names are. Someone obviously p!ssed in @RedToothBrush's cornflakes this morning!

Just seen their comment. Bloody hell 😂😂
I dread to think what their children are called!

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 27/04/2024 16:17

Gosh some people are so rude- it makes you wonder why they bother to reply. Not everyone cares about name popularity. You’ve been far more polite than I would have been in reply OP 🤣

I prefer Eve, Ollie and Clare to Eve, Ollie and Clara.

Eve, Ollie and Miles
Eve, Ollie and Martha
Eve, Ollie and Ben
Eve, Ollie and Sophie

Sails90 · 27/04/2024 17:56

@IamnotwhouthinkIam it made me laugh to be honest - I think their comments say a lot more about them than my children's names do about me 😂

I thought a J name would sound nice eg Josephine or even a short name like Jane. I like the boy J names suggested eg Jude, Jack or Joe.

PiggieWig · 27/04/2024 18:24

Sam/Samuel
Seb/Sebastian
Seth
Stan/Stanley

S names are sticking out to me for a bit, clearly!

Alfie
Issac

Agree and I'll add

Iris

Alice or Zach

I love some of these, thank you. Jude, Felix, Sam, Finn, Alex and Lewis are some that stand out to me. There have been some other lovely suggestions, but they've already been used by family and friends.
Now to get my partner on board with at least a couple!

@aintnospringchicken Faye is one of my all time favourites, but sadly my partner is of a different opinion.
