Hit me with them. I tend to sway towards them. Love the sound of them but can't choose one. Boys and girls. Thanks

And Methuselah’s an old stand-by too.

As is Abishag.

Oh gosh, one of these mentioned was going to be my name. I'm so glad my parents saw sense and chose classic and beautiful rather than out-there that no-one can spell.

I once met a Hosannah. Not a biblical name as such, but biblical. I still think what a lovely name.

Completely forgot Hannah and Felix, I love those names.

On the jokey theme, my mum used to tell me that, if I'd been a boy, she'd have gone with the biblical classic Malashallahashbash. But I've never found it in the bible so she may have made that up!

She was close!

"And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived and bore a son. Then said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz" (Isaiah 8:3)

I think I'd have been asking the Lord what he thought of Matthias instead ;)

CherryRipe1 · 24/02/2024 18:25
