Hello,

How is the name Ava pronounced in the Uk?

Is A like apple or A like "ey" from hey?

So A-va or Ey-va?

😂 @EconomyClassRockstar, we prefer to think we've named her after a beautiful, graceful and memorable actress! Tbh it's probably because I adored showboat when I was a child 😂

Thank you all!

I am looking for a girls name that is pronounced like Ever in the Uk. Not Evan that is male, not Everly that has the ly at the end ! Just to be pronounced like Ever.

Please help!

How about Heather?

Thank you! We will discuss Heather and Everly tonight!

I say Ava - rhymes with Java, lava, Lara, Guava and Cadaver.
AHV-uh. I like the French pronunciation.

Edited

Cadaver doesn't rhyme with any of those!
