What do you think to the name Dean? Dated or due a comeback?

Logan had that arrogant smirky face. He couldn't stand up to his father, was a frightful drunkard and kept sleeping with Rory when he was engaged to Odette. In fact he got Rory pregnant when he was engaged to Odette.

Although to be fair, Dean slept with Rory when he was married to whatsherface.

Rory wasn't great at choosing good boyfriends.

I don't feel like it's a real name when I say it (I know it is).

I think it’s fine. Not personally my taste but nothing wrong with it. It does make me think of Dean on EastEnders but I don’t think most people will have that association.

Are you looking for an Arabic/muslim name? I think the 'dated' associations might be less strong if it has cultural relevance.

The strong associations everyone has already mentioned are exactly why it’s not yet come back into fashion. It’s also why older generations are baffled by the reappearance of Archie, Ivy, Pearl etc.

@Mitherations you have just described perfectly my brother's bedroom in the 80's! And the hair. He's not called Dean though.
