Purely because I've never heard of Novie before, what do you think of Novie Nell? It's the name of Zoella's new baby, sister to Ottilie Rue.

Novie rhyming with Jovi (as in Bon Jovi) I'm guessing.
Not to my taste personally, but each to their own.

Wow people on here are horrible 😅 I’m going to go against the grain and say I like it. Not that my opinion matters, she can name her child whatever she likes. Like you all have with your own children, and yet I don’t imagine all your kids names are up here to be scrutinised. Totally get Mumsnet has its place for people wanting opinions on a name for their child, but slating someone else’s choices is pretty low.

Just watched the film Elf and there is a character called Jovie. I think that sounds nicer than Novie!

Novie is awful, Novie Nell is worse. It sounds like Nosy Nell 🙄
Ottilie Rue is pretty bad too.
They'll Ottilie Rue the day they called their kid Novie Nell!

If you like Nell, how about Helen as the given name, with Nell as nickname. Although to be honest I think Nell would soon be stretched to Nellie and then all I can think of is elephants.....
