Novie Nell?

Purely because I've never heard of Novie before, what do you think of Novie Nell? It's the name of Zoella's new baby, sister to Ottilie Rue.

The parents are doing their kids no favours by plastering their lives online before they can consent to it. This baby is less than a month old and already has a mn thread - that she can read in the future - saying how crap her name is! Irresponsible parenting with no thought to the children.

My children have zero online footprint.

If you like Nell, how about Helen as the given name, with Nell as nickname. Although to be honest I think Nell would soon be stretched to Nellie and then all I can think of is elephants.....

Either way, it’s a twatty name. Nell is nice though.

Novie is awful, Novie Nell is worse. It sounds like Nosy Nell 🙄
Ottilie Rue is pretty bad too.
They'll Ottilie Rue the day they called their kid Novie Nell!

Is it pronounced like No-vee or Noovie to rhyme with movie? Did she make it up? Hmm, I don't hate it , but it is a bit odd. Nell is nice though, although better as a shortening of Helen/a, Eleanor or maybe Penelope. The whole name is quite alliterative, isn't it?
