I am a big fan of Loola for a girl but wanted to get some opinions as I'm not sure if it may sound a bit too froofy.

Was a pushchair model years ago.
What about Bogga?
Or Lavvy?

PickledScrump · 26/10/2023 20:07

As a nickname for talulah then sure, on its own no

mrmagpie · 26/10/2023 20:11

Lula? Fine. Tallulah, with Lula as a nickname? Also fine. Loola? No.

therealcookiemonster · 26/10/2023 20:15

oh my godzilla, these threads are getting worse by the day. you are setting your child up for a life time of bullying. it's not unique, or cute or quirky - it's ridiculous. please don't do it. just give her a normal name.

Purpleavocado · 26/10/2023 20:16

Sounds like a twee name for a vagina

GreigeO · 26/10/2023 20:16

It sounds like a euphemism for fanjo

glitterfinder · 26/10/2023 20:16

In Ireland. Loo la means mad and not in a fun way.

Lula? Fine. Tallulah, with Lula as a nickname? Also fine. Loola? No.

Totally agree with this!

BitofaStramash · 26/10/2023 20:18

If you must then go with Lula.

Loola is awful sorry.

TiptopTommy · 26/10/2023 20:18

TeenLifeMum · 26/10/2023 20:18

Itjustgoesonandon · 26/10/2023 20:20

How about Tallulah but use that as nn?

PosyPrettyToes · 26/10/2023 20:21

Have you considered Ballonz....?

LylaLee · 26/10/2023 20:22

Lucinda and Dolores both have Lola as a nickname.

Loola sounds like a family baby name. Like "Uncle Booba" because the kid couldn't say Brian.

Sausagerollz · 26/10/2023 20:23

I would've named dd2 Lula if it wasn't so similar to dd1's name. Have you ever seen wild at heart?

neveradullmoment99 · 26/10/2023 20:25

Lulu?
Don't like loola
Was the name of my pram a few years ago. ( bebeconfort loola pram)

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 26/10/2023 20:25

As in, "Drunk too much tea, I'm off to the loola."?

I think you'd be better off with Layla. Please.

Squirrelsbite · 26/10/2023 20:28

Think of your child as a teenager having to live with a name like that

Monkeytapper · 26/10/2023 20:29

Squiginawig · 26/10/2023 20:31
