Opinions on the name Eden for a girl? What is your first impression, what sort of girl does it bring to mind?

I know two male Edens - both pronounced like the footballer. One was definitely named after him.

I like it. I like short, neat, unfussy names and Eden fits that description very well.

To me it's a male Jewish name.

I think of the poor 15 year old in the Handmaid’s Tale tv series. She was executed by drowning.

I know an Eden she is fabulous and I love them name because of her.
