Thoughts on Herbert or Wilbert - thought could we nn this Billy or Bertie and Herbert - Herbie or Bertie

I like old fashioned names which are not overused.

Not really keen on either. If you want billy or Bertie then I would go for William or Albert.

I prefer Herbert out of those two names.

How about Gilbert or Bertram?

I don’t like either but I would strongly suggest not using Herbert as it’s unfortunately used as a name for pervert.

-bert is a really ugly sound, I wouldn’t.
