Expecting a baby girl soon and trying to finalise/narrow down names. I thought I had narrowed down on a name but having second thoughts

Middle name is most likely Violet and the surname is double barrelled

Please hit me with ideas/suggestions

@YorkshireIndie I do think that a longer syllable first name would go well with violet and a double barrelled surname x

Sebastian is such a great name. Sounds like you love Violet so what about:

Violet Caroline
Violet Catherine
Violet Elizabeth
Violet Saffron
Violet Juliet
Violet June
Violet Jean
Violet Allegra
Violet Primrose
Violet Ariadne
Violet Calla

A friend has a son Sebastian and then a daughter Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Violet?

I have 12th Night in front of me... the only name for Sebastian's sister is Viola 😁 (Apart from when she has to pretend to be Cessario in a bit of Shakespeare's foolery).

The two were devoted siblings and Viola is a great heroine.

Thank you all. In my heart if I was naming her on my own she would be Violet but I know how popular the name is at the moment. You have all given me a lot to think of x

If perceived popularity is the only thing putting you off you should know that Violet is not that popular. It’s #45, which is less popular than Sebastian (#38)! Viola is rarer but you’d be creating an overt Shakespeare reference, which may or may not be desirable to you.

@LiesDoNotBecomeUs , Cesario not Cessario

Shakesperee himselfe was quite relaxed about spelling. (No dictionary of course😁)

@LiesDoNotBecomeUs , I particularly enjoyed The Merry Wipes of Windsor and Kind Lear

Shakespeer didn’t even have the advantages of autocorrect… but then he was a genius.

In these troubled times we need less spelling and more puns😁
