Rate our boys names please

This is our boys short list, trying to narrow it down further, which names do you prefer? Thank you

My favourites are William and Benjamin, but most of them are nice. The only ones I’m not keen on are Vincent and Richard. I might avoid Arthur, George and Jack as well though on the basis they’re a bit too popular.

Benjamin or William are my favourites from your list. I've always had a soft spot for the name Benjamin in particular

William - nice
Richard - ok, bit old man
George - too popular
Jack - a bit bland

Arthur - SO overdone
Benjamin - lovely name but do you like Ben as well? I've always loved Benjamin but not Ben
Joseph - ok but not my taste
Edward - a bit boring/bland
Luke - too old man for me - how about Lucas or Luca?
Peter - dislike
Matthew - boring - too 90s

Charles - I'm not a fan, I just find it so formal. I like Charlie but then find it too informal to go on the birth certificate. Go figure

William - its nice enough, though I know quite a few 6 and under. I like Will and I like Liam. Not a fan of Billy though

Richard - not a fan at all
George - also not a fan

Jack - i really like Jack. Its such a friendly name

Vincent - not a fan. Dislike Vince and Vinny

Arthur - OK

Benjamin - love Benjamin nn Benji

Joseph - nice enough

Edward - I like Edward but none of the shortening

Peter - nice
Matthew - nice but dislike Matt

I like Charles, Richard, Jack, Arthur, Edward and Peter.

Charles- Nice but not really my taste
William - Bit wet for me
Richard - Not my taste
George - It's nice enough
Jack - A bit plain
Vincent - This is terrible
Arthur - I really like this name
Benjamin - Lovely name
Joseph - This is lovely as well
Edward - It's okay, plain
Luke - Plain, love Luca or Lucas though
Peter - Too wet and plain for me
Matthew - It's okay

My favourites are Arthur, Benjamin and Joseph

They are all gorgeous names to me,
I love William, Richard, and Vincent.

I've always liked William and Edward.

Also Richard and Peter as they are currently less popular , but are classic names.

Charles would be the next after these.

Jack is my favourite out of all of those

Have you considered that names like Arthur and George are the most popular right now? I have a really common real name, there were always at least 4 of us in my class at school and I hated that.

Charles - like especially shortened to Charlie. Favourite
William - fine. Quite like Billy or Will
Richard - like but wouldn't shorten to Dick. Rich, Rick? 3rd favourite
George - ok
Jack - ok
Vincent - dislike
Arthur - ok but far too popular
Benjamin - like, 4th favourite
Joseph - ok
Edward - like but don't like Ted or Ned
Luke - ok but Lucas and Luca too popular
Peter - like, 2nd favourite
Matthew - like and like Matt

Pick the one that goes best with the surname

I like William, Edward, Luke and Benjamin and have two of those.
Joseph is ok. As is Matthew.
Really don't like the others. Avoid Luca or Lucas. A different vein entirely.

I've got a Vincent/Vinny. Love it!

Charles - safe but a bit boring
William - see above
Richard - absolutely not. Cannot imagine a newborn called Richard / rich / Ricky / dick
George - better than the above
Jack - I like jack
Vincent - I like this, nn vinnie
Arthur - ok, v popular
Benjamin - good name
Joseph - like but hate Joe. So boring.
Edward - love, nn ted / teddy
Luke - boring. Just sounds boring when it's said
Peter - it's alright. A newborn called pete is quite cute
Matthew - mundane

Edward is my favourite but they are all nice names… apart from Arthur, though it is a cute pet name
