I really love the name Tyler for a girl, but dh thinks its chavvy.
I don't really care and am determined to talk him round, just wondered what the general consensus was

I know a female Tayla - would that do - bit more 'gendered'

Can't say I love it personally

Somehow it conjures up an image of a boxer for me

I do think you MUST find a name you are both happy with though

I wanted to call my DD-to-be Taila (Tayla) but decided it was too boyish and she will be our only daughter, i wanted a more girly name.

I think there are much nicer names.

GooseyLoosey · 19/02/2008 13:45

I know a girl called Tallia (short for Natalia). How about that. Must admit, not too keen on Tyler, but don't be swayed by us.

I know a teenage girl called Tyler. I'm not keen on 'surnames as first names' though, to be honest.
