I am thinking about an appropriate name for my unborn child. Which of the name I have mentioned that you think is the most beautiful?
Any middle names ideas? Thank you!

I love Maura 💖

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 03/04/2023 20:21

Louisa is alright

SendARavenToRiverRun · 03/04/2023 20:27

I like Louisa but prefer Luisa.

Louisa

cheapskatemum · 03/04/2023 20:37

I like Louisa and really like Letitia. I'm not that keen on Maura.

ShesThunderstorms · 03/04/2023 20:42

Maura. Love it.

sunshineandmango · 03/04/2023 20:44

They’re all unusual and unique which is nice but I’d vote Maura :)

PurpleReindeer2 · 03/04/2023 20:45

Maura could easily be mistaken for Moira. Much prefer Louisa.

Fifthtimelucky · 03/04/2023 20:45

Louisa.

I don't like either of the other two.

MissHoollie · 03/04/2023 20:49

Maura

Louisa

Another vote for Louisa. It’s such an underused gorgeous classic.

I don’t love the Maura, did you say Laura? No Maura with an M issue. Or Moira? No, Maura, which I’m sure she’d be saddled with.

Don’t love Letitia.

shoopshoopdedoo · 03/04/2023 21:03

Like Maura
Louisa is OK
Dislike Letitia

WhatFreshHeckle · 03/04/2023 21:07

Louisa

I had a fairly unpleasant relative named Maura so I'm not a fan. How about Laura?

I like Louisa but prefer Luisa.

That is the Spanish/Italian spelling and the name is pronounced differently to the English version.

StarDolphins · 03/04/2023 21:12

I love Maura, it definitely the best imo.

I have 2 friends called Louisa so just can’t picture it on a baby!

I never knew that. Had a friend in my first job called it and she (and us) just said it the way I'd say Louisa. Every day's a school day. Going to Google pronunciation now!

Unfortunately I think (and like PP has said) Maura will be misheard as Laura so with that being said Louisa is my favourite here, it’s really very pretty. Letitia stood out though as I’ve never known one and it’s rarely heard so that might be great option for you.

Some middle name suggestions for you too:

Louisa/Letitia Catherine
Louisa/Letitia Caroline
Louisa/Letitia Amelie
Louisa/Letitia Clementine
Louisa/Letitia Ariadne
Louisa/Letitia Olivia
Louisa/Letitia Sophia
Louisa/Letitia Vivienne
Louisa/Letitia Willow
Louisa/Letitia Daphne
Louisa/Letitia Eleanor
Louisa/Letitia Primrose

Louisa Mary

theysaiditgetseasier · 04/04/2023 08:16

Louisa is lovely, not keen on the others at all

PuttingDownRoots · 04/04/2023 08:19

Luisa is also a German spelling and they seem to pronounce it the same as the English way.

(Luisa is also a popular character in the Disney film Encanto... my Louisa loves that shes the "strong one"!)

DuchessOfSausage · 04/04/2023 12:16

Louisa.
Maura isn't as nice as Laura or Maureen but is ok.
I think Letitia will be mispronounced - as Let-eesha or Let-eet-ia

RuthW · 04/04/2023 12:17

Louisa

Rauha · 04/04/2023 12:19

Maura

AliceTheeCamel · 04/04/2023 12:21

Louisa is great. Both the others have a much higher risk of being mispronounced, (depending on where you live)
