twin girl names

Hi all,
I've got twin girls coming in not long as all, and hubby and I just cannot agree on names.
My personal favourite is Hallie and my husband's is Bella but I don't love the two together.
We've gone back and forth with a few ideas, neither of us too sure though, they are:
Indie & Esme
Evie & Ella
Scarlett & Sienna
Starting to stress if you can't tell, and any help would be massively appreciated.

I think Hallie and Bella sound lovely together. You may regret compromising.

Agree - Hallie and Bella sound great together.

Lovely names and not matchey though they both have the same vibe - not fussy or frilly but still feminine. I think they're ideal for twins.

You name one, H names the other.

Hallie and Bella sound the best together. The others are too matchy.

Hallie and Bella are fine…but I really like Indie and Esmee

I agree with PP's - Hallie and Bella is really lovely to me and then you both get your favourite names. If you really don't like them together then:

Indie and Esme - It's okay, I love Esme but Indie doesn't seem proper to me. Indigo or India wold be nicer with Indie as the nickname
Evie and Ella - Far too matchy together, and much too plain as individual names.
Scarlett and Sienna - I'd avoid same initial names for twins at least. They are nice names on their own though

Name one each. You could each give the opposite twin their middle name.

Hallie and Bella are the best combination, although I like Indie. Please don't pick names that sound alike or start with the same initial.

Evie and Ella are just boring and sooooooo overused, sorry. Every other girl at school is an Evie.

I like Hallie and Indie. Bella is a dogs name.

I think you should go with Hallie and Bella. You both love the names. They go together fine. And they are distinct individual names which is much better than 'matchy names'.

There are 18 girls in one of the classes where I work. 6 of them are called Isobel, Isabella or Bella! So the dog name thing is a bit outdated. It's very popular for human children!

Hallie and Bella are great. I think the double L links them as twins without being matchy-matchy.

Pick the two you like most.

They don't need to 'go together' unless you're writing a children's book

So scarlett and evie or Sienna and Esme

Hallie and Scarlett links the ‘ll’ without them having the same initial.

Hallie and Bella are lovely names. Twins don't have to have everything matching. I prefer different sounding names for twins.

Hallie and Bella definitely. The others all sound to match, they should be their own people not a pair.

Not keen on Bella but I love Hallie.

Personally I would steer clear of both girls having the same first initial.

I have twin girls and found it really hard to find names that we really liked and that went together. I think it's nice when they have the same sound at the end. So if you had Hallie I would go with something else that has a e sound aswell. Both mine have an a ending
