My daughter has an Arla in her class, I can't get away from the fact that it's a dairy company!

The 'Arrrr' makes me think pirate

Makes me think of cream cheese.

I loved the name... then googled it and saw the link to the milk company, i was gutted as its really pretty, but just couldnt do it to my daughter

I think it sounds pretty but unfortunately it is the dairy company. That said, people do use flora as a name!

I think of milk too, but even if it wasn't a dairy company I find it a bit nothingy. Blends in with Isla, Ella, Orla.

Even if it were not a well known dairy, I wouldn't like it as much as Orla, Isla, Alia or Ella, if you want the ‘L’ sound.

That said, I remember looking at their milk when I was pregnant and thinking Arla would be a nice name, so you're not alone!
