Please give me views on these girls' names

We still have a bit of time but I'm struggling to pick even a shortlist of names. As a kid I always loved names, meanings etc and imagined it'd be really easy to choose. Not so much!

Gloria wins for me.

I like Gloria in a way, it makes me think of strong women like Gloria gaynor, Gloria Steinem - but somehow it seems quite flamboyant - might be difficult to carry off.

Don't like any of those, but I do like Cara.

Gloria and Finola are dreadful.

I like Lyra and Lara. Iris I don’t like and it’s just so popular it feels overused.

All nice names, but I can’t picture a little Gloria for some reason, only an older woman.

To posters that are unaware- Finola is a traditional and fairly popular Irish name.

I think Fionnuala or Nuala sound better personally, but wouldn’t go as far as likening Finola to margarine 😆

Also, I've been completely torn on Gloria. Part of me loves it as it feels like such a strong name (and the song is awesome) but part of me thinks it's a bit "old". You've all echoed both of those thoughts!

Love Eleri, I have a soft spot for welsh names and this one is really pretty plus easy to say and spell. Iris and Cora are nice, don’t like the others.

Eleri - I know too many who are about 60 yrs old. Really dislike people saying it as El-airy. It's El-ERR-y
