Sadie, big no.
Maeve, big no.
Romilly, terrible.
Robin, nope, but not as bad as the above.
Frankie no unless Frances - give your kid some dignity.
Zoe best in list.
Sylvie second best but Sylvia would be better and give more options.

Anne or Anna would be way better than Annie.
Rowan I prefer for a man

Love: Robin, Rowan

Like: Sadie, Romilly, Zoe

Lose: Maeve, Frankie, Sylvie, Beatrix/Beatrice, Annie

ShellsPebbles · 12/02/2023 02:07

Sadie - I really like

Maeve - strongly dislike. It sounds boring.

Romilly - I don’t like at all.

Robin - nope. To me it’s just a bird.

Frankie - I don’t mind

Zoe - it’s ok

Sylvie - I like both this and Sylvia.

Beatrix/ Beatrice - I like it a lot.

Annie - too ordinary

Rowan - really don’t like it. Tome it’s a boys name as I only know boys called it. But I don’t like it for a girl or a boy.

plumduck · 12/02/2023 05:04

Sadie - no
Maeve - very "trendy" there was a TV show with a Maeve during lockdown so it got quite popular. I don't like it.
Romilly - is this pronounced as it looks? If so that's quite nice they can be Rom or Milly.
Robin (prefer it with an ‘I’ rather than ‘y’) - no
Frankie - no
Zoe - I like this one.
Sylvie - lovely.
Beatrix/ Beatrice - no
Annie - YES! Love it. Perfect low fuss but not too plain name.
Rowan - no.

plumduck · 12/02/2023 05:05

If you do choose Robin people will misspell it with a Y. Which is fine, unless that bothers you correcting it.

Twoinapod · 12/02/2023 06:26

I like Maeve, Beatrix and Annie, the rest are awful sorry

Mumofgirls2017 · 12/02/2023 06:53

Sadie- like

Maeve- ok

Romilly- love

Robin (prefer it with an ‘I’ rather than ‘y’)- meh

Beatrix/ Beatrice- Beatrix ok, not keen on Beatrice

Annie- short for Annabelle, ok

Rowan- prefer on a boy

garlictwist · 12/02/2023 07:05

I like them all apart from Sylvie which is very old fashioned and ugly sounding to me.

FredinBread · 12/02/2023 07:31

Sadie love
Maeve -like but live
Romilly love
Robin (prefer it with an ‘I’ rather than ‘y’) no setting a lifetime if spelling out but also think Robyn looks odd
Frankie - very popular for both here
Zoe - no 1, love
Sylvie - ok
Beatrix/ Beatrice - like
Annie -too twee
Rowan no it's a posh accountant in his fifties

Kentlassie · 12/02/2023 08:22

Love Sadie, Romilly, Sylvie and Beatrice.
My favorite is Romilly and Beatrice.

Cheeseandabsolutelycrackers · 12/02/2023 11:27

Romiley is near Stockport

Teeshirt · 12/02/2023 11:32

Cheeseandabsolutelycrackers · 12/02/2023 11:27

Romiley is near Stockport

But as that’s not a name, it has no relevance, really. I’m sure lots of names sound or look a bit like a town if you change some of the letters.

Rauha · 12/02/2023 11:32

I love Sadie, Maeve, and Sylvie

Coxspurplepippin · 12/02/2023 11:35
