Max alliteration

I’m going in circles and returning here over and over again. I also sort of asked this a couple of months ago - sorry, didn’t quite get clarity.

Max Marshall - yes or no?

Feel free to give one word answers - I realise the alliteration is either loved or hated! I’m going to tot up the votes because I just cannot decide.

@Wombat222 Yes 😂 Apologies phone battery died! Was going to say that it also sounds like MacSmarshall to me - but I’m definitely in the minority on this thread and I probably have a terrible accent... Love the name Max so go for it!

Not at all. Everyone has loved the name. But most importantly my husband and I do.

I know a max alliterative surname and I love it!

Thanks! But do you think “woah, awesome” when you hear it?! I don’t want anything too bold!

Yes I honestly did! It makes me think of an undercover superhero, which is a good thing I think!

I actually really like the name Max Alliteration now. He'd be friends with Damian Grammaticus

Is it overthinking to wonder if Max is weird because it’s sort of a word too - min and max sort of thing? I’m having a panic!

I think Max Marshall works, has a nice rhythm.

And I love Max Elliot Marshall as a full name.

@Wombat222 , what do you call the baby when you refer to him or talk to him? Is he 'The Baby' or do you have a nick name for him (however silly/solemn)?

Another thought, @Wombat222 , why don't you register him as Max Elliott Felix, then take your time to decide. You can change the name age up to 12 months.

Just “the baby”. The thing is I know rationally they’re all fine - they’re not wild names! I’ve just read so much mumsnet and talked to so many people that I can’t see straight

Take the pressure off. Register him with the name of both grandfathers as first and middle names. Change it later, if you decide that Malcolm Colin doesn't suit him

Thank you, it’s more the pressure to tell friends and family etc tbh

Brilliant name! Love it. (Not a fan of Elliot, and like Max much better than Felix)
