Max alliteration

I’m going in circles and returning here over and over again. I also sort of asked this a couple of months ago - sorry, didn’t quite get clarity.

Max Marshall - yes or no?

Feel free to give one word answers - I realise the alliteration is either loved or hated! I’m going to tot up the votes because I just cannot decide.

I think some alliterative names work better than others - I really like L ones (eg Lauren Laverne) but we considered a T name for DC to go with our T surname and decided that was too much/too emphatic. I think M is a softer sound so I vote yes.

It’s perfect. I love alliteration, all the superheroes have them!

ds2 has an alliterative name with first, middle and surname all beginning with the same letter.

Yes tricky balance between cool and a bit too much! But it can work so well :)

Ma-Ma. It's not great.

It's fine. Nobody will bat an eyelid!

(I still like Elliott)

I like it. alliteration doesn't always work. Like with the letter F. fiona fowler eg, no.

Gwyneth Paltrow's son is Moses Martin and I think that sounds bad (i'm sure she's not reading) but Max Marshall sounds good. Sounds like Bruce Banner or Bill Bixby.

Max Marshall is great. It’s a different sound for the first syllable of Marshall, and M is not usually a sound that people have difficulty saying (like r for example).

Thanks! I’m just overly worrying about the Max Marshall, Lex Luther superhero vibes! 😂

I think it sounds great, like an actor name, but not too much. The two Ma syllables don’t make the same sound at all so it’s fine!
