What do you think..? For a boy!

I mainly know this name from a Chalet School book - I randomly mentioned it when discussing names for the new baby with DH (I could do this all day long, he hates it , the poor thing), and he very unexpectedly liked it.

It was my first choice of name for DS1 until we tried saying it out loud with our surname. I still love it. Was the name of one of DS2s friends.

Although I vaguely remember it from Chalet School I picked it up from Wheel of Fortune by Susan Howatch.

@CatLoaf what did you choose in the end?

@17caterpillars1mouse Not Kester I'm afraid 😔 After all these great responses too!

I’m in the final weeks of pregnancy and possibly at the stage of going a bit mad over trying to find a name we both like.

It’s a shame you didn’t use it @CatLoaf but I’m sure you picked a lovely name.

Kester has pricked my ears though and I think I like it. I’m
nor sure if we’d be able to get away with it though as I like Kit for a nickname but our surname is Fox. Would that be too silly?

Alternatively my DH’s name is Christopher (I wouldn’t use it though), could we use Sonny or would that be a stretch?

Kester doesn't sound like a real name, more a washing powder.
