Océane is popular in France, if that helps

All tacky... poor kid.

Agree

PeekAtYou · 28/12/2022 16:01

Ocean is much better than Oceana
Lakelynn is awful. Lake isn't to my taste but you could possibly use Lake but not with Ricki as a first name. There must be prettier names that make you think of bodies of water - lake is like puddle and not so pretty imo. Maybe if you have a son ?
Niagra is awful. Lots of jokes about waterfalls and falling over
River is very unisex imo. Would that bother you ?

TheYummyPatler · 28/12/2022 16:04

You could go Disney themed and have a Moana.

DH also likes Violet, which is one of the only ones I like as well. I like it but don’t love it.
I’m determined to find a name I love that he likes..

It doesn't seem right that you won't have a name that he loves and you like but you think it's fine to go with a name that you love and he likes Hmm

What about ö? That’s island in Swedish.

Sjö is lake.

Hav is sea.

Or you could have Flod or Ström (river, stream).

Or you can mine other languages for words for sea/ocean.
