Opinions on Rosemary?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
LaLuz7 · 04/12/2022 18:10

I happen to like although i feel it's a little dated.

BlueSuffragette · 04/12/2022 18:22

I prefer just Rose with nn Rosie. Rosemary sounds very dated by comparison.

MerryChristmasToYou · 04/12/2022 18:24

I don't love it but it's ok. Rosalind is prettier.
Rosie is very popular and every other girl's middle name is Rose.

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 04/12/2022 18:24

I like Rosamund of all the Rose-type names.

RaininSummer · 04/12/2022 18:26

I Iike it and think it's nicer than Rosalind or the other variations. Rose-Marie is nice

cranberrymilkshake · 04/12/2022 18:27

Everyone will call her Rose anyway so why not go with Rose? Rosemary sounds very old fashioned...

ClaraThePigeon · 04/12/2022 18:27

I love it.

Yika · 04/12/2022 18:33

I love it, time for a comeback!

plinkypots · 04/12/2022 18:35

Lovely

SpinningFloppa · 04/12/2022 18:40

I don’t agree that everyone will call her rose, I know a Rosemary and she is never called just rose.

toastofthetown · 04/12/2022 18:45

I love Rosemary. It has a lot of charm to it. I agree with pp though that Rose or Rosie are very likely to end up being nicknames.

Boating123 · 04/12/2022 18:48

My sister is called Rosemary. Family members call her Ro. Friends call her Rosie.
I like it. It's unusual, but not a weird name.

Riverlee · 04/12/2022 19:05

Love it. Due a revival.

lndnbrdge91 · 04/12/2022 19:08

I like it too. Also know a Rosina which I think is another nice one.

CaptainCastillo · 04/12/2022 20:02

I do think Rosemary Is a little dated, but other than that Its completely fine! I do think she will be called Rosie most of the time.

CaptainCastillo · 04/12/2022 20:02

Rose I meant

Winter789Mermaid · 04/12/2022 20:04

My aunties name she’s 80 😊is it coming back again? She’s never a rose or rosie always her full name.

fairycupcakes · 04/12/2022 21:29

Very dated to my ears. Much prefer Rosanna or Rose out of the Rose-type names x

Zampa · 04/12/2022 21:31

DD2 has Rosemary as a middle name, after my mother. She was never a Rose/Rosie; always Rosemary.

I obviously love it as a name!

ofwarren · 04/12/2022 21:33

I think it's a lovely name

dotdotdotdash · 04/12/2022 21:34

A bit old-fashioned. Rosa is nice and works in Spanish too

VenusClapTrap · 05/12/2022 22:01

Love it

MissHavishamsMouldyOldCake · 05/12/2022 22:46

It's a Sheila/Maureen/Brenda name for me.

Frumpy.

Top tier herb though.

Luredbyapomegranate · 05/12/2022 23:26

I like it

But there are so many Rose names, she’ll probably end up Rosie which is overused

Billslills · 06/12/2022 13:13

I like it!
