Really like the name Raphael for a boy.
Honest thoughts and opinions please.
We live in the UK & hubby has latin roots.

Not a fan as i think it’s sort of odd sounding to say but if you like it then that’s what matters

It's a lovely name, though I'd be hesitant to use it - it's one which would suit some people but not others.

I have an 11yr old Raphael. Usually called Raph or Rafa. Sometimes Raffles or RifRaf.

Never had a negative comment either.

My dad was Raphael but here in Ireland pronounced rafe e el not raff eye el. He was Ralph tho to all. My bro is called Ralph and his son Ralphie. Love the name in all its iterations. X

My five month old is called Raphael (so obvs love the name)! We call him Raphy/ Raph for short.
