Harper or Skye

looking at a girls name of Harper or Skye

Harper Rai
Skylar Rai (but would be known as Skye)

family hate the name Skye but I don’t!

Not worried so much if a name is popular or not etc

Im quite a bohemian person 🤪

Haha! Yes I agree with this. Skye is a dog's name for me, Harper will forever be associated with the Beckhams. I do prefer Harper though.

Rai is just a bit chavvy.

I don't understand why, after a couple of negative comments had already been made, other people just piled on and said exactly the same thing - practically copy and paste. Odd behaviour.

Oh right. I see. Just it seemed a bit mire like bullying type playground behaviour.

Isn't it better to know what people think, rather than find out after the baby is named.
I grew up with people saying to me 'That's my nan's name'

Both names are a bit dated tbh by about 15 years, a bit like Tracey and Sharon. I think you can do a bit better while still keeping with your bohemian tastes. Maybe look at constellation, nature and alternative floral names.

I like Skye, and Rae spelt correctly. Not keen on Skylar, Harper (makes me think of harping on) or Rai.

I know a little Harper and she's a lovely little girl!
I really like the combination Harper Skye if that could be an option? x

I like Skye more.
