Jezebel. Love it but…

Jethro. Love it but again, even if you get past the sound of banjos- the area I live the local accent uses “f” instead of “th”…

I adore this, so beautiful, and I love the nickname Andy for a girl.

Pippa. This is the only name DH and I both properly loved before having kids, alas, we are an all boy family!

LittlemissMama67 · 12/06/2022 20:32

Vita - husband vetoed, associates it too strongly with a 160kg football player rather than a little girl
Lysander - vetoed, along with some lingering concerns about usability on my part

Tabitha

For girls:
Lettice- I love it but DP thinks it sounds like lettuce in a posh accent.

Polly - DP loves it but that was our cats name when I was little!

For boy:

Horatio - just wouldn't work with our surname

Harry/Henry - always wanted it for a boy but DPs parents have a dog with the name so that's out!

MidwichCuckoo · 12/06/2022 20:46

I'd like to have had an Emily and an Ida. I did use Emily as a second name for one dd.
I'd like to have had a Jack and for late dh a Daniel. (After his dad.) Probably just as well we didn't have boys as Jack and Daniel don't go well together!

Dinneronmybfpillow · 12/06/2022 20:48

Henry and Kit.

Had three girls and we can't afford a bigger house so no more children for us.
