They’re mostly fine OP. I don’t think our tastes are very similar, and Juliet is the only one I’d consider myself, but none of them jumps out as being particularly awful or offensive. My honest opinions:
Arietta - way too frilly for my taste. Also seems like a ‘mishmash’ sort of name, like a hybrid of Arianna, Henrietta and Arietty.
Connie - insubstantial and lacks gravitas
Freya - loved this 15 or so years ago, but now it’s way overdone
Jasmine - fine, perfectly nice name. Don’t like Jas/Jazz/Jazzi as a nickname though.
Juliet - lovely
Lottie - I have an irrational dislike of this name. It just seems so twee and infantile, especially without Charlotte to adult it up a bit.
Maeve - OK, but it’s a flash in the pan, 15 minutes of fame sort of name that will date quickly.
Matilda - quite like but hate Tilly
Melody - quite pretty and not overused, just not my style
Meredith - OK and I quite like Merry as a nickname, but I prefer Merryn.
Rosalie - too saccharine sweet for me
Sylvie - I was in Clissold Park the other day and pretty much every second girl in the playground was called Sylvie. It’s nice but among certain circles it’s the new Elodie, which in turn was the new Amelie. I imagine it will massively surge in popularity soon.
Violet - quite nice but popular now and I prefer Viola
So I’d personally narrow the shortlist down to Juliet, Matilda (with a different nickname), Meredith and Violet, with Melody as a left-field option.
