Also, is it acceptable to use Merryn with no Cornish connection? Elowen is lovely too but both DP and I have El names so we can't use it

Merryn definitely, it’s so lovely. Also personally don’t think you need a Cornish connection to use it.

Merryn, absolutely. DS would have had this if he was a girl. We only have tenuous connections to Cornwall too.
