Our 4th baby girl is due in the summer.

Madeline
Matilda
Primrose

All 3 go lovely with our other dd's names
Primrose I think is beautiful but is it too out there.. which do you prefer and why.

I think Matilda would be best cute Nick name choices either Matty or Tilly she can be either girly or tomboyish and it would work

Primrose I feel is a lovely name but very girly so it may work but she may feel it's too much to live up to

Madeline I feel although pretty is to overused and popular along with Adeline and variations

Marynotsocontrary · 28/03/2022 11:35

But Matilda is much more popular than Madeline and its variants are, in the UK at least, @ButterRose.

NETSRIK · 28/03/2022 11:37

Primrose by a mile

MissConfused08 · 28/03/2022 11:40

They are all beautiful names, but I prefer Primrose.

MurderAtTheBeautyPageant · 28/03/2022 11:44

I'd absolutely hate to be called Primrose.

clpsmum · 28/03/2022 11:50

Matilda without question it's beautiful

HailAdrian · 28/03/2022 11:51

Madeline

SpiderinaWingMirror · 28/03/2022 12:00

I have a Madeleine. Lovely name and she has liked it growing up.
I also had Mathilda on my short list but preferred Maddie to Tilly for short.

ButterRose · 28/03/2022 13:24

@Marynotsocontrary sorry I haven't checked the most popular lists recently I just seem to hear Madeline and Adeline both alot in Australia where as Matilda is still a rarity

Marynotsocontrary · 28/03/2022 14:33

It's probably different in Australia all right, ButterRose. I don't know where the OP is based actually, but most likely the UK I suppose.

Buttercup54321 · 29/03/2022 19:29

Automatically think McCann for Madeline.
Matilda. Did they want a Matthew?
Primrose. I knew a cow named that. Sorry!!!

hattie43 · 29/03/2022 19:48
