Phoebe, Charlotte, Hannah or Matilda?

These are the 4 girls names that my husband and I agree on. I know they are all very mainstream and not hugely exciting though! Which, of the 4, do you prefer, and is there anything else we might like? Husband has vetoed SO many of my choices, Josephine, Orla, Freya, Georgina, Juliet, Rosie, Penelope etc.

I love Matilda, so I'd go with that.

You might also like Tabitha or Madeleine

Hannah!

OvOvO · 09/03/2022 19:34

Hannah - timeless beautiful name

LoganberryJam · 09/03/2022 19:34

Matilda is my favourite - Tillie for short.

Didisquat · 09/03/2022 19:35

Hannah! Because it’s my name 🤗

AlwaysOutside · 09/03/2022 19:35

I like Matilda and Phoebe best

Zillamop · 09/03/2022 19:35

In order of preference

Hannah
Phoebe
Charlotte
Matilda

Hannah Phoebe would be a lovely name.

PatSpringleaf · 09/03/2022 19:36

Matilda! It's so lovely and suits from baby to adulthood. I'm desperate to use it but DH doesn't like itSad

maybein2022 · 09/03/2022 19:38

My only hesitation with Matilda is that our surname starts with a T, and Tillie T*** sounds really silly to me?! I love the full name, but obviously nicknames come about so I couldn’t insist she wasn’t called Tillie/Tilly.

Tabitha and Madeline both nice but I know DH would say no!

Love Hannah.

DeadButDelicious · 09/03/2022 19:39

Phoebe. A lovely name, not all that common and grows with the child.

I love Rhea, if I were going to have another that would be the name I would choose.

Taylor1986 · 09/03/2022 19:41

I have a Charlotte so I’d go with that 😊 she’s Lottie for short.

urbanbuddha · 09/03/2022 19:43

Charlotte - choice of Lottie or Charlie for nn.

Junobug · 09/03/2022 19:45

I have a Matilda. I wanted a strong name for my girls and it means battle ready. She is normally Tilly or Tilda rather than Matilda.

user1493494961 · 09/03/2022 19:46

All lovely names but I would choose Matilda.

aintnospringchicken · 09/03/2022 19:47

I like Hannah and Phoebe

MissCarolina · 09/03/2022 19:51

Matilda is lovely

KylieCharlene · 09/03/2022 19:51

I love Tilly as a nn so was going to suggest Matilda but I see you aren't really a fan of Tilly due to surname.
Of the others I prefer Charlotte as I like LottieSmile.
Hannah is ok but I still see it as very 90s.
I'm not a fan of Phoebe. I don't like the sound or the look of it written down.

DotDotDotDotDot · 09/03/2022 19:52

I’d choose Matilda or Phoebe out of those, both lovely.

DarkCorner · 09/03/2022 19:52

Matilda is my favourite with Hannah second. I'm not sure why but Phoebe doesn't sound nice to me and Charlotte is a bit over used (although I do love the nn Lottie).

AlmostMaybe · 09/03/2022 19:53

I really like Charlotte.

MinglingFlamingo · 09/03/2022 19:53

Love all of them but in order of preference
Charlotte
Phoebe
Matilda
Hannah

ShineTogether · 09/03/2022 20:06
