Help needed in choosing between 2 girls names

Hi I am fond of classic traditional names and what was a long list has now been whittled down to two names, Alice and Grace. Out of these two names which would you choose? No negative comments please as I've really struggled with girls names so its looking like it will be either of these that I go with (I'm always open to suggestions if there are other names similar to these that you think I may like. Thank you x

I love both. Do you have a middle name?

Both lovely names but I would choose Alice, with Grace as the middle name (if you haven't got one).

Alice

Lemonweightloss · 08/03/2022 16:52

Grace. I love it.

2DogsOnMySofa · 08/03/2022 16:53

Grace

Mumofgirls2017 · 08/03/2022 16:53

Alice 100%

Calandor · 08/03/2022 16:54

I'd choose Alice.

Nobody wants to be the girl who is not graceful but is called Grace. Unless you or her father are ballerinas in which case luck maybe on your side!

lisaandalan · 08/03/2022 16:54

Grace or Gracie x

Feduperika · 08/03/2022 16:55

Alice is a lovely name, I worry about Virtue names in general, girls have enough to live up to already. Grace is a lovely sounding name but I love Alice.

Alice. There are masses of Grace's aged about 15/16 now.
Both are beautiful names though.

Alice is by far the best name of these two.

Blackbirdflyintothelight · 08/03/2022 17:16

Alice. I know 3 Grace/Gracies under 10 but no Alices.

celestebellman · 08/03/2022 17:18

Alice - Grace is over-used, and also she may not be graceful (I realise there is another meaning of grace, but this is the one people think of!)
Really like Alice, simple and classic.

organicoatmilk · 08/03/2022 17:22

I prefer Grace.Smile

Fleur405 · 08/03/2022 18:07

I like them both but prefer Alice (it was on my list!)

PollysPockets · 08/03/2022 18:08

Alice

Guineapiggiesmalls · 08/03/2022 18:08

Grace is far better, Alice always seems a bit wet to me…

babynamelover · 08/03/2022 18:09

Alice 😁

SE13Mummy · 08/03/2022 18:36

Alice

Riverlee · 08/03/2022 18:47

Why don’t you wait until she is born, and see what suits her?

Or practice saying the name out loud, and see if you have a preference?

DramaAlpaca · 08/03/2022 18:52

Alice, by a long way. I don't like that 'gr' sound in Grace.
