Otis, Reid or Hugo

Need help!

We are due a little boy very soon and have whittled the name down to three:

Otis
Reid
Hugo

We have a girl called Lyra atm so like the more unique names, what do you prefer?

Lyra is a nice name; it's in the top 100. If it helps, re comparable popularity of your suggested boys names: Hugo is ranked 51, Otis is ranked 96, Reid is ranked 668.

I would say Hugo. Otis is okay but not my favourite. I don’t think Reid is very nice. It doesn’t really sound like a proper name to me, and it brings the words reedy/weedy to mind.

Otis and Hugo are both popular names right now (though Otis is about as popular as Lyra, so maybe your popularity cutoff is higher than mine) and all names are very current. Reid stands out and is certainly much less popular, though I can't say I like it.

I love Red but not Reid. Red short for Redmond. Or just Red.

I think Otis goes best with Lyra if that influences you.
I'm not keen on Reid .Hugo is sweet .
I'd forgotten the name Redmond nn Red or Reddy, not sure that it matches Lyra in any way but I do like it!

I would choose Hugo. Otis is OK but Reid is awful.

Otis is good. Don’t care for the others - sorry. I see Reid as a surname and Hugo Just sounds a bit upper class twit for me (sorry, I feel bad saying it but it does, sorry to all Hugo parents).

I know 4 Otis's and they are all dogs.
Hugo is a perfectly sensible, normal name, its lovely but i'm bemused as to why you think its unique.
Ive never heard of Reid as a first name, dont like it though.
