Looking for ideas for a sister for Clara. We are finding it hard to find a name which compliments it without making it sound a bit fusty. Open to most suggestions and we are not fussed about popularity.

It's cute isn't it?! You don't hear it used to often either I think.

Obviously the most important thing is to choose a name you love but if it were me I wouldn't have two ending in 'a' so names like Isla, Eva etc would be out for me.

For some reason I immediately thought Bo! (Bonnie?) Then Nell. Adeline Justine Christine Lorna
I think that may be because of Clara Bow the actress.

So many gorgeous names! Deciding on just one is going to be so tricky! I’ll have to have more children! Grin

@Hadtocomment

I think I'd go for something not the same format (ie not another two syllable with an a on the end). First thought I had was Ingrid. Iris is nice and simple and contained also very fashionable at the moment. Polly? Which I think is its own name. Esther?
I thought the same about not another a at the end. My favourite suggestion was Alice.

Clara and Alice.
